  Lovely, convenient place to stay. We came from Brisbane for our grandson’s wedding & we were able to visit the Canberra Museum, do a tour of the Legislative Assembly & the War Memorial. Also enjoyed a lovely Sunday evening church service at St John’s historic church with family. Bus transport along Brisbane Avenue is so easy, walks & eating places good walking distance. Thanks so much for the 6 night stay.

  It was great. There was plenty of room for three adults and the rooms were lovely. Although the weather was cooled once inside and sitting comfortably the environment was very welcoming and warm. So close to everything in the CBD. Will be going back again.

  great location, immediately welcoming and comfortable when we arrived. Little tricky to find, being part of the DHQ building but didn't take long to find it tucked at the back of the building in the carpark. Aircon was great because it was very hot when we were there. Check in instructions worked smoothly, aside from not actually being clear where the unit was. Unit itself was lovely and bright and comfy. Location was perfect for us - there ofr a family wedding which was walking distance. Would absolutely stay here again and recommend to anyone heading to Canberra.

  We had a lovely stay in the Salvos unit in Barton. It was clean and had everything our family needed for an enjoyable stay, including twin and sofa beds, tea and coffee-making facilities, a desk for work, as well as washing machine and dryer. The location was excellent, within walking distance from Questacon, the National Library, the National Portrait Gallery, National Gallery of Australia, High Court, Old Bus Depot Markets, Manuka Oval, National Archives, Parliament House and Old Parliament House

  The only thing I would change is in the instructions. Currently they state 'use the swipe card to operate the boom gates to gain access for your car (swipe pad located on the right hand side of yellow pole).' There is no swipe card, it's a tag/disc; and the pole isn't yellow, it's orange.
